Uncle gave me this a year ago, saying it only grows in the mountains in eastern cuba...smells good, blooms every 4 months, slow grower, Any body know what it is?

It's a Hedychium hybrid. Common name is "butterfly" ginger. It looks like Gold Flame or Pink Flame or Lemon Beauty but there are so many hybrids that look alike. It's beautiful. I grow dozens of these gingers and they are all nice.
