ginger that is done with its bloom....

I have some gingers (dr moy, pink v and more) and I was wondering if I should cut down the stalk after the bloom. I have not seen them rebloom and I need to thin them out.
Your thoughts?

Once a Hedychium blooms, the stalk termintes. I usually leave mine for a while until the leave start to die then cut it down. The dying stalk gives energy back to the rhizome mass.
