What size container for Globba Winitti?

I have a Globba Winitti on order and was wondering what size pot I should put it in.

Alos....is is slow or fast spreading? I thought about putting it in the ground but I don't have alot of room for fast spreading tropicals, but I am quickly running out of room for containers. Overzealous ordering on my part. :)

Thanks!

Depending on how big a plant you get, a 4 inch or 6 inch pot should be fine. Most Globba including G. winitii are very tight clumps and have a very compact "footprint." Planted in your garden it certainly won't take over. I'd rather this species be more weedy!!, but its actually very well behaved.

Thanks!

I think I will start it in a pot. But, I do have a nice place to put it in the yard. Decisions, decisions........:)
