I'm just really getting started growing gingers. Last year I bought 2 pots of a ginger at Home Depot that I now have identified as Curcuma Sulee Rainbow. Both pots came back and now I'm hooked! They began to flower the beginning of July and WOWZA! Even better than last year.

Last week Home Depot again had what I knew to be a ginger and I grabbed a couple of pots. I know they are Globbas. The question I have is that I thought I was lucky and getting pots that had mixed varieties of Globbas. Some of the plants had pure white bracts coming and others had a deep pink bract. Now that I've watched them for a week, I realize that they are the pure white as they are emerging, aging into partial pink and then finally into complete pink.

Does anyone know what hybrid this might be? After researching it I have wondered if it might be Blushing Bride, but that is a total guess as there is little info that I can find on that variety.
