| Hey there. I was wondering if someone could tell me what type of curcuma this is. Thanks!

| Both are forms of C. sparganifolia. Depending on who sells them, the reddish one with dark green to black tips is often 'Siam Ruby' The pink form however goes under several names such as pink pearls, siam princess, khmer pure pink, precious patumma, etc.etc. etc. The foliage is similar, but even when not in bloom one can tell the two types apart (ie, there is more than just a color difference in bracts.) | Oh thank you so much for the ID! I didn't even realize that they were two different types lol. I just got them from Home Depot and they were only labeled as Curcuma. Thanks again! |
