RE: looking for hedychium forrestii

Unfortunately, many Hedychiums are erroneously sold as Hedychium forrestii. Some of this is due to Kew Gardens Wakehurst Place Garden having distributed some plants under that name without verification and no one ever questions what Kew Gardens says. I have gotten the plant from Thailand and verified it's identity. I am not selling it yet on eBay but if you can come to my open house this Labor day (see recent Gardeweb posting)you can get a plant. It is a big plant up to 6 feet tall and has a long spike with large pure whit flowers
