Ginger plant I.D.

I was visiting the Huntington Botanical Gardens in Ca. and came upon this plant in the conservatory.



I believe this to be some kind of a ginger, but I am not sure and cannot find it on the internet. I would love any info on this plant. Thanx!

Yes, it's a ginger. Globba Winitii "Mauve Dancing Girl". Shade lover. Hardy to zone 9, goes dormant in the winter.
