Growing Ginger In Montana???

Hi:
We just moved to a house that has a greenhouse and large garden. We are interested in growing ginger to sell locally. Is anyone growing ginger in Montana who could answer some growing ginger questions?

| I'm not growing it locally but my guess is that unless your prospective clientele also have greenhouses, you are going to have a very small target group of local buyers. Most people in cold climates who attempt to grow various gingers as houseplants never get them to bloom and are ultimately disappointed |
