Does anyone know if there is any variegated ginger that grows in zone8?

Shell ginger? I grow it in 8b. I don't think the shell ginger flowers are as cool as some of the others, but it might do depending on what you are looking for.

Here is a link that might be useful: Variegated shell ginger

This is great!
While visiting with my aging mom yesterday and talking about Hawaii (she lived there in the 50s) she told me about this plant.
She wants one, she has never had plants! I would love to get her one and take care of it at her home.
Would any of you have any idea where I might find one in San Antonio?
Thanks.
