Dumb Question from a beginner

We have lots of tall red gingers. Do they form a head more than once on the same stalk or should the stalks be cut after bloom?

Hi Joe-
They only bloom once per stem. You can keep the spent flower around - it might make plantlets. If you don't need/want any more red gingers, just cut the stalk after it blooms.
