Newbie - Zone Question

Hi:

I live in the Pacific North West (Vancouver Island BC).

I have some ginger growing (first time). I stuck some edible ginger in the ground earlier this year.

Will it survive the winter? Or should I consider potting it, and bringing it indoors?

Thanks.

RE: Newbie - Zone Question

I would dig it up and bring it in, and keep it really dry... I wouldn't water it more than say once a month, at the most.
