hi,group,i know this one blooms from the base,so was wondering how long,or big will the plant need to be?
i have it in a 5 gallon,and it has 15 shoots,of which 5 are 3 feet tall.
i know it can get to 15,but i think its the rhizome size that matters?
can this one flower when young?,or should i just forget it,until it is huge!!!!!?

Hi Gaza, there was a good discussion on this subject a few months ago at

I think the general conclusion is that this one is very difficult to bloom in containers no matter how mature, but Bihai has had very good luck blooming it when it is planted in the ground in her greenhouse. She posted a beautiful photo of it.
