| It is certainly not hardy outdoors at your location. Most sources indicate it is hardy zone 8, but I have found it to be prone to rotting of the rhizomes. I have grown it in various light conditions and it seems to prefer about 3-5 hours of direct sunlight - at least in my north Florida climate. It is small enough to be grown in a pot and taken indoors in winter. |
