Ginger lotion from cone

Hi, I have read somewhere that you can make lotion from the juice of the red cone from the ginger plant. Has anyone heard of this? If so, any idea on how to do this?

Thanks for your help

You can actually just squeeze the juice straight from the inflorescence of zingiber zerumbet and use it as a skin softener or even in your hair. It is totally awesome. Do you live in Williston? Are you coming to the Open House at Kanapapha Gardens this weekend? I'll be there, actuall have 2 spaces there, #s 24&25. If you in the area stop by.
Liz
