Roscoea purpurea 'Red Gurkha'

I was just looking at info about this member of the ginger family. I cannot find a source for this in the USA. There are some sources in the UK but none (as far as I know) will or are allowed to, ship to the USA. Also it is supposed to be hardy to zone 6. If anyone has information regarding a source for this plant, and/or any information regarding growing Roscoea in zone 6, I would appreciate your sharing it with me. Thanks,
Bill

It's apparently one of the subjects of the book Hardy Gingers which may be available from your public library.

Here is a link that might be useful: Hardy Gingers
