Leave curcuma alismatifolia in ground for winter?

| I have several curcuma alismatifolia (siam tulips) in the ground, in zone 9A (Houston area). Which is the better bet: leave them in the ground for the winter or dig them up and store them dry? They are in a slightly raised bed which drains well, but the winter here is sometimes pretty rainy. Thanks for any suggestions -- |
