| Anyone catch this HGTV show yet??? Its very funny!! Ed Begley (mostly) and his wife (grudgingly) try to live the "Green" Life. Their home is solar powered, Ed recyles everything and his wife just wants alot of NEW STUFF!! It is a new show and upcoming show commercials show him bicyling an exerise bike for 10 minutes to produce enough juice to toast his bread!! Gotta love it.

| I've heard of this show, and I've seen (part of) a promo for it, but I don't watch much tv (just my soaps and my Rangers hockey games), but I hadn't realized the premise of the show. Interesting. Perhaps if lots of people watch it, maybe they'll give green(er) living a try. I'm not a big fan of has-been celebs and their attempts to get back in the spotlight via reality shows, but if this brings positive attention to eco-friendly living, then I say go for it! Dee |

| There was some talk about it in the Kitchens Conversations area. I fine the show very entertaining. I wish I could afford PV on my roof. Maybe some day. Anyway, the "season" ended last Sunday. I think it contained 5 whole episodes. |

| I don't watch the tube either, unless there is something I expressly want to see, but last year when my husband was away for an extended stay with his relatives out of state, HGTV was on a lot as I was replastering and mudding walls and doing other necessary repairs in the living room of my ancient home. Although I found a lot of the programming interesting and helpful for ideas with my work, the consumerism aspect of the station really made me uncomfortable. It was as if by centering so much of their programming around the 4K sq foot and UP! mcMansions they weren't giving any regard whatsoever to the more fiscally and ecologically sound alternatives.........and those of us who can't or wouldn't if we could lay out a million dollars for a house. It surprised me a little to see a "green program" and I really wish that channel could expend a bit more of their airtime to those of us who would like to know how to make our homes more kind to the earth. |

I just saw 2 episodes and it's funny and interesting. The interplay between his wife and him makes it dynamic so it's not so preachy. I like that it may expose a wider audience to concepts about conservation, recycling and solar power. The way to get the most change happening is for children to start bugging parents to "go green." Ed needs a hottie 20-something on the show showing how he/she is saving the planet on a personal level. |

| I've watched every episode and found it very amusing and interesting. I'm hoping they'll do another season. I'd like to see a series where Ed travels around the country and helps others go green. |

I watched one episode and thought they were both annoying and childish. The show just didn't do much for me at all and the stuff about living greener I thought got lost in their constant bickering. |
