 o
leads to alternative appliances..?

This may seem askew to the general flavor of this particular forum, but I couldn't find another forum that looked like the right place to post this.

Might anyone have any leads on where I could find comparative information and/or reviews on alternative appliances like gas refrigerators/freezers, and other off-the-grid harware.?

Consumer Reports doesn't seem to deal with this fringe.

I've found several manufacture's sites; but I'd like to see some objective critiques - if you get my drift.

ThanX for any suggestions.!

Check out Lehman's catalogue (or website) since they sell to non-electric users like the Amish. Identify brands, then Google for reviews. Although generally I would guess that if Lehman's carries it, it is well-made and long-lasting.

Ask any farmer who has oil wells. Most of the around here use the free gas to their advantage by having all gas appliances. My daughter had a gas fridge, and both my kids had gas clothes dryers.
