Question is.. Why do people justify energy saving expenses based on how long they will live in the house? Or how long they will live.. Regardless of how long they live in the house, It continues to save energy for the life of the home and makes our country stronger!

Despite all the "green" bs about saving mother earth, saving energy is about saving money and making life easier, probably too easy for far, far too many nowadays who have no idea waht it is like to live through eighty five degree night with near zero percent humidity without air-conditioning.

I grew up in an old house where air exchange was part of its design.
If I could afford it, it would still be the same way it was forty years ago because I preferred it that way.
I really miss the old skewed view one got looking out of the old fashioned windows with the far from normal, much less perfect, optical quality.
