What about Mosquitos???

| I can't stand them. I live in an end unit townhouse, with no one beside me, and no one behind me, with a row of townhouses up the hill. There is no standing water, besides a birdbath, and I put those all natural dunk-ins in it. Yet daily I need to run to my car or front door in order to avoid them. I do the mosquito wipe off dance, and generally knock off at least 5 or 6, and my toddler as well. Is there an alternative way to control mosquitos other than chemicals?? Thanks for any advice!!! | Find and remove sources of standing water. The most often cited culprits for mosquito reproduction are old tires full of water, but a more pervasive and less visible problem area is in clogged gutters. Ask your neighbors (and you too) to look for sources of standing water, and have them check their gutters. |

| Might also think about adding a few bathouse and some bird houses to your envirnoment. Bats and birds are wonderful insect control officers. |
