You know, the ones with the pull-rings on milk and juice cartons? They make good paper fasteners, especially for thin paper like shopping receipts.

I feel kind of silly about posting this, which is why I've put it off, because it says nothing about the screw top itself (minus the cap, which is marked for recycling) or the plastic lining. In fact, I feel so bad about my inorganic waste that I even prioritize compostable/recyclable containers over nutrient density when shopping for food.

& you can always use wax-coated cartons in the garden!
