Does anyone know where I can find the Dunbar squash seeds? Burpee or whomever use to have them don't sell them anymore. They were a very good, long, uniform squash and produced good yields. What replacement squash would you suggest? It's a longer, firm and well proportioned squash. I read about early prolific, but not sure if that is a good choice. Suggestions?? Don't like crooked necks.. Thanks, Penny

That is one I have not encountered. What type of squash are you looking for? If a yellow straightneck, the ancient Early Prolific is a very good OP. Hundreds of hybrids available. Daisey is a disease resistant example.

Thanks. I thought we use to get them from Johnny Seeds or one of the seed companies. I noticed last year they didn't have them on the market anymore. I will give early prolific a try and look into Daisy. Thanks, Penny

Hi Farmerdill, Thanks for search them for me. All three sources say out of stock. :(( I sure wish I knew they were going to be taken off the market so I could have collected some seeds. These were the best squash every!!!; (( Thanks again Farmerdill. If anyone has any saved seeds.. hold on to them and collect more seeds because they're golden!!! Penny

Goldbar is an old Peto hybrid. Seminis has apparently dropped it. If you can't find it in a reasonable time frame try Daisy.
