Pumpkins, Squash & Gourds

Peanut squash?

Last year, I got this one from a farmers market down the road, they also runa you pick.

It is a small squask 8 inches to a foot, oblong and green striped. It had a pale yellow fruit and tasted pretty good so I saved the seeds.

Anyone ever hear of this before?

Delicata, There are several cultivars, Honey Boat being one of the better of this group.

One word of warning. Deleicatas are C. pepo and will readily cross with crooknecks, straightnecks, zucchini, acorns, halloween pumpkins etc. Unless the grower grew in isolation which is unlikely, the saved seed will give you some strange hybrids.
