C. maxima 'Nadym pink' (Np) is as a sibbling of Nadym white (Nw) also from boer ford mother 'Pumpkin de Durban' and pollinated by the Atlantic Giant 1172 Singleton 09 a 1385.5 Jutras 07 x self.
Weight loss from harvest in September to a month later was 3.5%. Averaged weight of all fruits is around 50 lbs. or only 2/3 of Nadym white. Coloring is bad with more grey at the stalkôs end. One might think, with more pink from the AG, the fruit would grow larger, but xenia (influence of the pollen onto the motherôs genetics on the growing fruit of parental generation) suggests not. Since I do not have the growing space to do F1 with all of my breedings, I would like to give away Nadym pink.
