My beautiful zucchini and spaghetti squash fruit are being stung by something which results in the fruit being eaten from the inside by miriads of small maggot like larvae. The fruit eventually desintergrates into a squishy mess within the skin.

Does anyone know what this is or what to do to prevent this infestation.

The harder pumpkins and melons are not affected.
