This sounds just like my pumpkin patch! We own about 3 acres behind my house, last year i planted a 1/2 acre patch of Connecticut Field pumpkins. I planted around 200 seeds and harvested about 120 pumpkins! I really liked the Connecticut Field variety! I got my seeds from Gurneys. I also grew Lumina as well, but I didn't have too great of luck with the Luminas. I planted them too late I think though. This year I'm going to have the pumpkin patch be about an acre and I'm growing Connecticut Field and Howden in the patch. I'm going to grow about 10 different varieties of pumpkins this year too. I also sold the pumpkins I grew last year, I'm a sophomore in high school, and made a pretty good profit! This year I'm ordering from Gurneys Seeds, Jung Seeds,and Johnnys Select Seeds. You really learn a lot just from growing pumpkins!

I added Appalachian F1 to the list, Semi Bush plant that produces 20-25 lb pumpkins..... yes please lol

Yeah im pretty excited. All of my seeds i bought through Rupp Seeds and i think thats the only place im going to buy from for now on. Since they are also in ohio i pretty much get my seeds within 2 days
