Hello everyone,

I was just recommended to this site by a long-time gourd grower. I am excitedly awaiting my first batch of seeds from her, and hope there is a poster or two on here from my area in Santa Fe, NM. We're at 7k feet, with a high desert/mountain climate, and a little newbie advice would be most welcomed. I am most concerned about soil requirements. I have ordered bushel gourds, mixed small ornamentals, long-necks, and Martins. It's possible they might not thrive here, but I am optimistic. Any advice?
