I grew two small Sugar Pie pumpkin vines once in an old wooden box, about 18"x18"x18". It was against a heavy metal grate used as a trellis. I got 5 nice punks, but that year I had to hand pollinate and only the ones I pollinated matured. I held the fruit up with tulle netting slings.
Maybe you could box and trellis the smaller ones if you need to save space and hill the giant one.

How far apart do I put these pumpkins in the pot? I have two already sprouted and they are about six inches apart I wanted to know if I could separate them still or will this mess them up and how far apart should I?

Well I finally have one pumpkin on my small sugar pumpkin vine, It's about the size of a large marble. How long till it is fully ripened any guesses?
