| I was wondering if anyone has an idea for making your own hand held saws from regular size jig saw blades that would fit in a wooden handle or maybe in a exacto blade handle?? I have issues when it comes to using power tools!! I have tryed using a coping saw and they are just too big and I have tryed using a jigsaw blade wrapped with duct tape but it hurts my hands too much so I want to make a small hand held . Hope you have some ideas that might get my creative juices flowing.
Thanks in advance for all your help Have a Gourgeous Day Cheri |

| I'll second the pumpkin carving saws. I found I can make pretty intricate cuts using those. I used one for cutting the leaf on the gourd pictured in the link below. |

| I don't know if this will work but you might try it. I have a mini-jig saw and instead of buying the expense blades for the mini I use scroll saw blades and cut them into shorter pieces for the mini. The scroll saw blades just might fit an Excacto knife. If so, let me know, please. |

| Guess what?? They do fit I'm glad you told me about this It will get me by until my goodies arrive. What made me feel silly is I own a scroll saw and never even thought about using the blades cut in half( DUH ) Thank's again for all your help You folk's are the best Cheri |
