Gourds and cold frame question

Dottie B.

I'm growing birdhouse gourds and mini bottle gourds for the first time this year. I started them inside several weeks ago and they are growing much faster than I had anticipated and I am running out of space for them in the house. I have a cold frame and was wondering if I could put them in that to continue growing until I can plant them in late May. My fear is, the cold frame still gets down to the upper 30s at night. What is the coldest temperature that the gourds can handle? Or should I just keep pinching them back inside until they can be planted outside?
