Do all gourds seeds need the same treatment

Ok, I have a lot of different gourd seeds and am wondering if they all need bottom heat to germinate or do just loufa's?
I also wonder do they all need to soak or be snipped.
I have:
Bottle neck
Penguin
Birdhouse
Luffa sponge
Apple
Long Handled Dipper
Short Neck Dipper
Kettle

I would give them all the same treatment, whether it be soaking or snipping, or both.

All I have ever done with seed preparation is just wrapp them up in a damp dish cloth or similar and leave them over night in the hot water cupboard or on the window sill and plant them the next day - works fine for me with a very high germination rate - I always soak more seeds than I need anyway. So can they just soak in a dish of water or do they need to be in paper towel or a dish cloth.
