So awhile back I noticed this rogue pumpkin growing in my yard. I assume it's been growing since Fall of last year because we did throw some old pumpkins over there. Anyway, I didn't think much of it because I figured it was just going to die. But now it seems to be going strong on it's own and I want to know how to keep it healthy.
Here's a few things about it: It's about a foot and a half wide now. Right now, it's growing on solid clay and rarely gets watered. I really don't even know how it's lasted this long. There's also a lot of thistle where it's growing and I know I need to get rid of that. Should I uproot it and move it closer to where my garden is? Or just leave it be. Also, how often should I actually be watering it?
Thanks for any information.
