Saving Seed...True and Cross in same Squash?

If I test one seed from a saved squash and it grows true will all the other seeds from the same squash also grow true?

I read it takes more than a little pollen. If the female flower is pollinated by a true variety and a cross, will the seeds be a mix? Will some grow true and others a mix? Or will all seeds from the same squash be identical?

The seeds would not be identical. You would end up with a mix of seeds that grow true and seeds that are a cross.

Exactly. One grain of pollen = one seed. There can be as many different seeds (and outcomes) as there are grains of pollen that make it into the flower.
