Need help spacing Kabocha squash

Here is a picture of my 10x4ft raised bed of kabocha squash plants. There are now 34 sprouts! I need help with spacing though. I keep reading differently. 12-18in or 3-6ft, im not sure what is correct here. I realize I need to do some thinning. Any suggestions?

I want to get as many squashes as i can! Thanks:)

There are many varieties of kabocha squash and they vary in size. In general tho I prefer the 3-6 feet for the class, with 3 feet being the minimum. They vine heavily.
