I have an egg gourd already!

I know this may not be amazing to anyone else but me, but I live in Canada and the weather has been really wet, cold and overcast for a long time. I started my little ones in Feb in the house. Out in April to the green house and then into the garden last week. I just noticed a little one today. Yaaaaaaaaaaa! LOL

Congradulations Penny! It's always exciting when you get your first little gourd. I grew egg gourds last year and I ended up with about 250 eggs off of about 6 plants. I think before your season is over you will have a bunch, too. Most of mine are dry now but I still have a few that aren't. I have already made Christmas ornaments with some of them. Keep us posted on your crop!
