Hello y'all, I'm considering planting some Pink Banana Bush [winter] squash this year, and would like info. from those who have grown them, and/or cooked with them. First, are they worth growing, as far as taste is concerned, also storage capabilities, etc. Are they susceptible to disease, bugs, SVB,[my favorite.....NOT!] Our family loves Hubbard squash, but I'd like to grow a winter squash that takes up less room, and still produces well. How does this squash compare? Any tips? I'm anxious to plant, but don't want to waste precious space in my raised beds on something that isn't worth it. Thanks!
