I know this sounds weird because everywhere I read, the male flowers come first and usually there aren't much females at first. But in my case, I saw both female & male buds come out, but the female ones keep growing and growing and all of sudden all 3 of my zucchini have huge female flowers ready to open up along with a huuuge starting fruit... yet none of the male buds have grown any larger and their stems are still so close to the stems... could it be the fertilizer? I am using all purpose Miracle-Gro.

And have to mention that I am planting them in containers... maybe I need another combination of nutrients for these male flowers to grow? They've been tiny buds like for 2 weeks while the female ones are growing out and ready to open up their flowers.

Also some tendril like things are coming out from the plant stems, that's normal right?
