Help, Please -- How to Inject Bt?

I've got Bt in powder form. Having seen my first squash bugs and knowing that the SVBs are close behind I want to be ready.

How much powder do I mix with how much water to make the liquid to inject into the vines?

How much to I inject into said vines?

How often along each vine should I do the injection for the vines that run along the ground?

Well, I never got an answer so I improvised.

I've done it twice now and the plants are still alive so I'm doing something right. :-D

I'm mixing a couple tbs of powder with about a cup of water and I sacrificed my cajun spice injector since I couldn't readily get my hands on a syringe with a large-bore needle.

The injector makes holes that are bigger than I'm comfortable with, but mainly I'm sticking it into the slits where I've tried to remove the worms. I'm thinking veterinary supply for the syringe when I get the chance.
