I used 7 dust....but then I also hand pollenate most of my gourds.
7 Dust seems to keep alot of bugs away so .....the hand pollinating
is almost requied if you dust.
The good points of hand pollenating is it helps to get
true seeds from your gourds too.

I try to keep it all organic. I read about radishs and marigolds so I have them planted near the gourd vines. So far so good. I also bought Neem Away Insect Spray,haven't used it yet but I'm ready if it's needed. I had a ton last year too, but hopefully I won't have that problem this year, keeping my fingers crossed.
