cold rain sick gourds

anyone having trouble with this years rains and there gourd gardens .last year i had 8 plants just to try growing them now ive got 50 planted 90 degree days then the rain came .its been cold and raining and ive already lost 4 plants in two days im thinking of making tents over them like little green housesanyways im new to the forums and looking for advise on saving the crop ,all help welcome thanks ,steve

Been there, done that.
We are usually in the same boat, but our plants seem to be doing a little better this year.
We soaked our seed overnight and planted with the new moon.
Now the plants are popping up and looking pretty good.
Hopefully, your plants will snap out of it and be good producers yet.
