| Some of my pumpkins have yellow vines and leaves. Any suggestions? I live in Washington so they are planted in clay soil. I dug holes 2-3 feet wide and filled them with a manure, compost and potting soil mix and have given them organic fertilizer....did I overdo it with the fertilizer? It's been a cold and rainy year...powdery mildew? Some of them are okay and others are completely yellow and the little pumpkins fall off the vine. |

| Could it be a lack of nitrogen? I am still trying to research this, and I believe that this is the same thing that happens in other plants when they are in need of nitrogen. |
