I am a newbie to this gourd growing thing--I planted my Bushel gourds and then we had a freeze so I re planted...Then they all came up and now I have a massive patch of gourds....I have been triming vines off so I will get bigger gourds but was wondering if it is safe to cut some of the BIG leaves off so the gourds under all the leaves will get more sun--I cut a few and it didn't seem to bother them but am a little nervous about cutting any more--Please advise if possible...Thank you..Nancy
