why arent my atlantic pumpkins flowering anymore??

i grew them from seed and they flowered a little bit right away but i clipped the flowers off so the vines could get bigger before starting to fruit and all that.. they are at least 2 1/2 months old now and the vines are only about 3 ft or so (they were in 3 gallon pots for most of the time - now they're in the ground)

why arent they flowering? should i feed them a bloom nutrient? its getting be be the middle of july and i think these take 120 days to finish fruiting, and i'm worried they might not finish on time.

they get watered 7days a wk, in the morning through a soaker hose for 40minutes, (theyre on a timer)

they were potted in compost/soil mix... but the garden soil isnt the best...

I think you answered most of your own questions?
1. You kept them in the pot for to long.(10 days is max)
2. The vines are only 3 feet long( plant is to small for flowers)
The flowers you seen early on were from stress. Many plants flower when they are severly stressed. You could try a fertilizer high in Phosphorus to promote flowering. How much area are you giving the plant. What amount of sunshine is it getting. Still plenty of time for a big one. Next year get the plant in the ground earlier. Grow them BIG and ORANGE. Shannon
