I have clusters of red/brown eggs on the leaves on my zucchini, winter squash, and cucumbers, but none yet on my cantelopes. We have hand picked them twice but are having a hard time keeping up as they seem to be multiplying. I have sprayed with neem oil and pyrethrin/rotenone.

Will the neem oil smother the eggs? I assume the pyrethrin/rotenone will control the adults but does it have to get directly on them or do they ingest when they eat off the plant?

Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can keep my vine crops from being taken over without so much work?
