I don't THINK so, but I could be wrong. When I look up zephyr squash they are a light green in stead of dark and half and half colored instead of green on both ends.

I saw that too but just wondered if they could be darker from being more mature? Their coloring reminds me of a Batwing pumpkin. Sorry I haven't been much help!

Well, they are that color as soon as you can tell it's a baby squash! The yellow becomes a little more golden, but the green is just as dark! Sure wish I could figure this thing out!
