What do you think of my kabocha growth

I planted these kabocha here in San Antonio, TX (hot and pretty dry here) on june 16th and they sprouted on june 22nd. I then transfered them to my raised bed (1ft deep) on june 26th. So it has been about 1 month and none of them have flowered yet. I see flowers starting to form, however, I am wondering it this is where they should be at this point?

Should I be concerned? They look healthy.

I really ask because before i took out all of the cardboard underneath the soil (it was suffocating them, i later learned) I had kabochas that were not growing any more than about 3 inches. I kept some of those and now they are growing much more, but still not producing yet. I just want to make sure something else isnt stunting their growth.

Ive heard it can be anywhere from 90-180 days for harvesting, so maybe they are at the correct pace. what do you think?

the middle kabocha here is one that was planted in june. the others were from before the cardboard fiasco and were planted in april, but now actually growing!
