Dear all,

I have been growing bottle gourds in earth boxes for a few years now. However, this year I'm having some problems. The plants are flowering and setting fruit but the fruits are rotting top to bottom after they attain about 6 inches in length. Does anybody have any diagnosis or remedial suggestions?

PS: I have snake gourd and bitter gourd planted in adjacent earth boxes and those fruits are doing just fine.
