I know that several seed companies carry different kinds of gourd seeds. Normally, the description will tell you what gourds you are getting. Where are you getting your seeds from? I generally purchase two different mixes, plus a few packs of all one kind. Autumn Wings and Shenot Crown of Thorns are two different types I have seen in stores a lot. Try those, plus a mix of assorted varieties. That should get you bumpy, smooth, striped, winged, crowned, and a good mix of colors.
