| I was given some small Pear shaped gourds today, they maybe a heirloom variety not sure. These were perfectly dry and seeds appear to be ok. I planted my dipper gourds in June and by frost they are ready. Wondering if its to late to try these this year first frost here is Nov? |

| Jim - Give them a try. If they germinate fast for you they may be able to make it by frost. You didn't say how big the gourd was. The smaller, the better because they will mature earlier. Save a few seeds for next year if you can then if they don't make it this season you can try them again next year. Keep us posted on how they do. Gene |
