Pruning Seminole Pumpkin plant - some questions.....

Hello all,

My seminole pumpkin/squash plant is doing quite well. I have pinched several 'runners' that started in the leaf axils. At each pumpkin fruit there is a new runner in the leaf axil. Should I remove/prune these runners or let them be. I can post a picture if it will help with understanding.

I have been adding 1/2 strength liquid fertilizer to the water each day - too much? The plants (3) are growing in an EarthBox supported by cattle panel trellis.

Thanks,

DL
